Kofi Sarkodie is the latest member of the 2017 squad to call it quits for San Jose. The fullback announced his departure from San Jose via Twitter on Tuesday, and it appears will be looking to test the free agent market.
The news should be good for Quakes defender Marvell Wynne, who did not play last year due to a heart condition. However, the Quakes still have his rights, and if Marvell passes his physical, he could see time at right-back. Nick Lima and Joel Qwiberg are the top prospects to be in the starting XI.
